BEACH SNORKELING
We look at the sea on the day, and the instructor takes you to the spot in the best condition.
We are open from November through March. Our private boat tours pause over that period,
but this plan runs all year round.
If you would rather learn to dive down, see Skin Diving (from ¥10,800) as well.
Beach Snorkeling
¥8,800/person
About 90 minutes / from 2 guests
Every photo included, free. Gear rental and insurance included (tax included)
Held at one of three beaches on the main island
How the beach is chosen
The instructor picks one of the three after looking at the sea on the day.
Even on the same date, a change in wind direction changes which beach is best. We do not fix it in advance, so that we can take you to the best water available.
※ The instructor decides the beach by 20:30 the day before, based on the conditions for that day.
※ We will do our best to honour a preference, but conditions may make your preferred beach impossible.
※ At some beaches, parking and showers are paid (payable by you on site).
The total is about 90 minutes, up to the moment you come out of the water. Changing time is not included.
The times above are a guide only. We adjust them on the day to the sea and to how comfortable you are.
| Morning | Meet 10:30 / finish 12:15 |
| Afternoon | Meet 14:00 / finish 15:45 |
※ Finish times are a guide. They shift with the sea and with how the session goes.
Which one it is depends on the sea that day. Tell us if you have a preference. We will do our best to honour it, but conditions may make your preferred beach impossible.

Cape Maeda
Onna Village — known as the Blue Cave
Home to the Blue Cave, famous among divers. Light pours down through the water, but it is popular and gets crowded. Parking ¥100/hour, shower ¥200, toilets and changing rooms free.

Nakayukui
Seragaki, Onna Village
Shallow sand continues for about 300m. With luck you may meet a sea turtle — they are wild, so we cannot promise it. The name means “a short rest” in the local dialect. Free parking for 24 cars. No shower, no toilets, no shade.

Sakimotobu Park
Motobu Town — known as Gorilla Chop
Past the sand there is a pier that feels like an underwater jungle gym. Good if you like man-made structures underwater. The best equipped of the three. Free parking for 92 cars, paid shower, changing rooms and lockers.
